Current interests are focused on neuromodulation of CNS, reorganization and repair of neuronal circuits after spinal cord injury and on implementing of the key principles of neuronal repair: protecting surviving neurons from the secondary injury, activating neuronal circuitry with electrical stimulation, retraining neural nets to restore motor functions, and stimulating axonal regrowth and plasticity.
