Hello! I am a Doctor from the Democratic Republic of Congo in Africa, working within the neurological field and specializing in helping people with epilepsy.

There are so many thousands of people in my country affected by the disease epilepsy - causing such personal and societal outcasting. Those affected need our help regarding education, treatments, emotional support, psychiatric support as well as help to find work. I have seen complete disrespect for those affected by epilepsy in my country and it is no longer tolerable.

With the bizarre but very common beliefs of those with epilepsy being that they are affected by evil spirits, contaminated, etc., it's common to witness people verbally and physically abusing these people. It is horrific.

I seek to better people's neurological, physical and psychiatric health, providing them with medication, therapies, stability, empowerment and a better sense of happiness.

As the Founder of ASLEK, I organize societal outreach to help people affected in both city and remote areas and welcome financial contributions from those wanting to personally better the lives of these people.
