U: The Mind Company is a Cleveland-based neurotechnology company building non-invasive brain stimulation devices for neurological conditions and cognitive wellness. Our mission is simple: unlock the brain's infinite potential. Without surgery, without drugs, without barriers.
Founded on a question: What if?
What if the future of brain treatment didn't require opening the skull? What if the same neural circuits that deep brain stimulation targets could be reached from outside. Safely, affordably, accessibly?
That question led Mohammed Abouelsoud to found U: The Mind Company. Starting from his research into amplitude-modulated brain stimulation, Mo assembled a team of neurologists, engineers, and clinicians from Mayo Clinic, Johns Hopkins, MIT, and Ohio State to build a new category of brain stimulation technology.
Today, U's technology has been used across 250+ people studied, over 2,000,000 treatment minutes, and research settings spanning six continents. We hold 5 patents. We've published peer-reviewed research. And with NeuroEdge, we're bringing brain stimulation technology directly into people's homes for the first time.
